The first of two new Big Greek Cafe restaurants in Loudoun County is open for business. The Big Greek Cafe in Leesburg quietly opened its doors last week.
The fast-casual restaurant is located at 9 Catoctin Circle SW in the tiny Shoppes at Kings Corner retail center.
As we first reported back in December, the four SouvlakiBar restaurant locations in Northern Virginia were all purchased by the Maryland-based Big Greek Cafe brand, which has nine stores in that state.
The SouvlakiBar locations all closed in order to undergo a brief transition period to turn them into Big Greek Cafes and they are slowly reopening.
One in Alexandria opened and now the Leesburg spot. The other two pending locations are in Sterling and Oakton.
Big Greek Cafe – which made a strong move into NoVa with the purchase of four locations at once – has a menu (see below) similar to SouvlakiBar, filled with Greek items such as gyros, pita sandwiches, lamb chops, spanakopita, moussaka, and more.
