A new seafood restaurant coming to Loudoun County has announced a tentative opening day. Frye’s Famous Crab Cake Co. says Wednesday, April 2, is the target date.
The Burn first broke the news back in January that the Manassas-based business was expanding with a new location in Ashburn.
It’s supposed to be moving into the Ashburn Eats restaurant center on Waxpool Road. That’s the same center with the Moe’s Southwest Grill, the Five Guys, the Yen’s Kitchen, and more.
As the name clearly states, Frye’s specializes in crab cakes made with jumbo lump crab meat. They also offer various cold salads (allegedly from secret family recipes), such as a shrimp pasta salad and a potato salad.
While the original Manassas store is just a retail outlet for takeaway, we’re told plans call for a small dining room at the new Ashburn store.
