A growing restaurant brand in Canada is making waves as it moves into the United States as well — and one of its first locations south of the border will be in Loudoun County.
The Burn has learned that Karahi Boys is opening a roughly 5,400 s.f. restaurant in Sterling. It will be in the Nokes Plaza retail center.
That’s the plaza with the Sheetz gas station, the Bassett furniture store, the Burger 21 restaurant, and other retailers at Nokes Boulevard and Windmill Parc Drive.
Karahi Boys specializes in traditional Pakistani food, especially meats cooked using a specific Pakistani method.
“Karahi is a style of food that is traditionally cooked and served in a thick, circular, deep cooking dish, or wok, called a karahi,” the brand’s website reads. “It is definitely the most popular authentic dish of Pakistan, as you can cook any type of meat your heart desires in a karahi – chicken, lamb, ground beef, even paneer.”
“Food will always be served just as it should be – in the same wok that it is cooked in sizzling and succulent, right at your table,” it continues.
The restaurant’s menu is extensive and features Patakha Chicken, Lahori Fish, Beef Bahari Boti, Mutton Chops, and much more.

According to the Karahi Boys website, they have seven location in the Toronto area and an eighth in Calgary.
Their first location in the United States is in a suburb of Houston, Texas. And now, Loudoun County — and we assume all of the DC market — is in the mix.
