Aura Indian Food Paradise coming to Loudoun

Well, that is quite a name. A new restaurant is headed to a long vacant space in Loudoun County — and it’s going by the name Aura Indian Food Paradise.

The restaurant will be taking the roughly 7,800 s.f. space formerly occupied by The V Eatery before that establishment closed its doors five years ago this month.

The location is in the Ashburn Eats restaurant plaza on Waxpool Road in Ashburn. That’s the same spot with the Moe’s Southwest Grill, the Santini’s New York Deli, and the Five Guys.

Last October, The Burn broke the news that an Indian restaurant was headed to the space. But it initially looked like the current Indian restaurant in the center — Barwarchi Biryanis — was moving into the larger space.

Bawarchi Biryani and Aura have the same owner, so at some point, the decision was made to create a new concept.

“A new experience with authentic tastes, premium spirits, and an elevated ambiance,” is what Aura posted on social media.

The plans call for a full service restaurant and bar, plus private event spaces and catering services as well.

As seen in the artist rendering at the top of this story, there will also be ample outside dining space on the large patio that lines the front of the building.

No target opening for Aura Indian Food Paradise yet, so stay tuned.
