Loudoun County’s first Taco Bamba has officially opened

A line stretch around the back of the building this morning as eager diners turned out for the opening of Loudoun County’s first Taco Bamba restaurant.

As we’ve been reporting for more than a year, the popular Mexican restaurant chain has moved into the Cascades Marketplace shopping center in Sterling.

They have renovated the old Baja Fresh space into a modern Taco Bamba, complete with a dining room and a full bar.

The doors were scheduled to open at 9 a.m. and the line stretched down the side of the building and snaked along the back wall of shopping center.

The first people in line said they arrived around 5:45 a.m.

Taco Bamba — which has 16 locations, mostly here in the DMV — specializes in Mexican dishes such as tacos, tortas, and quesadillas.

The menu also includes breakfast items — thus the early opening time today.
