Today — Friday, February 28 — is the grand opening of the new Always in Motion Ninja and Parkour training center in Loudoun County — and The Burn got a sneak peek inside.
The center is geared for kids and adults who enjoy the sports of ninja obstacle courses and parkour urban running and jumping.
Both have become immensely popular in recent years, due in great part to television competition programs.
Always in Motion is located at the Dulles Town Center shopping mall. The entrance is from the exterior of the mall, near where the Cheesecake Factory restaurant is located.
Inside, guests will find multiple “rigs” — obstacle courses of varying sizes for people to complete in races against time and other competitors.
There is also a party room for birthday parties and other events, plus a lounge for adults to relax in while the kids get a workout.
The grand opening runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. this evening. There will be a ribbon cutting, obstacle course demonstrations, and special games and prizes.
Addy Herman, the 2024 American Ninja Warrior Women’s Champion will also be in attendance to greet guests.
