Exciting changes coming to Baker’s Crust in Ashburn

Some big changes are in store for the Baker’s Crust Artisan Kitchen in Ashburn. They are revamping the focus of the restaurant and curating a new menu.

The folks at Baker’s Crust tell The Burn that breakfast, brunch, and lunch have always been their strongest dayparts.

The brand also originated three decades ago as an artisan bread baking cafe. So they have decided to lean into that reputation.

They plan on expanding their breakfast and brunch options — picture more types of French toast, more types of Eggs Benedict, plus cinnamon rolls, açai bowls, and other items.

Even more exciting for bagel lovers — they are going to be partnering with Ess-A-Bagel, a popular New York City bagel purveyor to serve their bagels here in Ashburn.

The bagel dough will actually be mixed, hand formed, and boiled in New York City, then baked here in Ashburn. They also plan to have a dozen or more types of cream cheese available.

They will be expanding their cocktail menu to pair with their new brunch-themed menu.

The operating hours will be shifting to be primarily morning and afternoons, but they do intend to stay open later on weekends with an extended Happy Hour.

Baker’s Crust — which opened in Ashburn in 2017 — is located in the Belmont Chase shopping plaza.

That’s the same center with the Whole Foods grocery store and the Cava and Cooper’s Hawk restaurants off Claiborne Parkway near Route 7.

The new menu and other details are still being finalized, but the goal is to be ready to launch in late March. Stay tuned and we’ll keep you posted on the plans.
