A longtime purveyor of chicken dinners in Ashburn has given up the ghost. We’ve learned that Frito Chicken has closed its doors.
Frito Chicken first opened back in 2018 in the Ashburn Eats restaurant center on Waxpool Road.
That’s the same center with the Santini’s New York Style Deli, the Moe’s Southwest Grill, and the Five Guys burger restaurant.
Frito Chicken served up both rotisserie style chicken and fried chicken as well as chicken sandwiches and other treats.
The Burn had heard through the grapevine that the Frito Chicken restaurant was for sale.
No word if a sale ever went through, but now a sign posted to the door reads: “Dear amazing Frito customers. As we close our doors at this location, we wholeheartedly thank you for your business the last 7 years. Stay blessed.”
