More than 250 artists will display and sell their works at the Spring 2025 Capital Art & Craft Festival, which will be run from Friday, March 21 to Sunday, March 23 at the Dulles Expo Center.
Artisans from all over the United States will travel to Chantilly to participate in the largest art festival in the region — displaying their amazing works in a variety of mediums including painting, clothing, jewelry, glass, woodworking, leather, photography and ceramics.

“Everything on display is handmade by the artists and everything is for sale,” said festival director Judy Spargo. “The show presents a unique opportunity to meet the artisans who craft these wonderful items.”
While there are exhibitors from around the East Coast — and even some who travel here from the West Coast — the Spring 2025 Capital Art & Craft Festival affords local and regional artists a venue at which to show their work.

For example, Rob Piland, founder of R.E. Piland Goldsmiths, is a Master Goldsmith who makes all of his jewelry, from design to casting in his Haymarket, Virginia studio.
Rob says that in 1993 he fell in love with the Celtic art form’s clean structure and free-flowing spirit and that style is prevalent in his work.

R.E. Piland Goldsmiths produces two lines of jewelry — Limited Edition and Custom. Limited Edition jewelry is produced for just two to three years in sterling silver and/or 14 karat gold with a selection of gemstones using Rob’s molds. Rob’s custom jewelry is handmade without molds and is available at the Capital show and by commission.
The Spring 2025 Capital Art & Craft Festival runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, March 21 and Saturday, March 22. The hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 23.
