It looks like a new Dollar Tree bargain price store is coming to a Leesburg shopping center — and this may mean another nearby Dollar Store is moving.
According to the landlord, Dollar Tree is taking a an 11,750 s.f. space in the Battlefield Shopping Center. That’s the center with the Sprouts Farmers Market, the Boot Barn, and the Total Wine off Edwards Ferry Road.
It’s going into a space just to the left of the new Burlington store that opened last October.
Currently, there is a Dollar Tree just a short distance away over at the Fort Evans Plaza II shopping center.
We would speculate that this store is just moving locations — it would be unusual to have two Dollar Trees so close together. However, we haven’t been able to get confirmation of that yet.
No word yet on when Dollar Tree will open at the Battlefield Shopping Center, so stay tuned.
