The growing hamburger chain Z-Burger has officially settled on its first location in Reston — and we know this because the sign has been mounted over the door.
Z-Burger is taking a space in the Reston Town Center West retail center (RTC West) that was previously home to BGR, another burger brand. BGR closed that location last summer.
That’s the same center with the Cooper’s Hawk restaurant and the Kook Dogg Cafe off Sunset Hills Road.
According to its website, Z-Burger currently has 17 locations around DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. Other NoVa locations include McLean, Arlington, Alexandria, Vienna, and Centreville.
There had been reports that Z-Burger was eyeing Reston for a location as it expands into NoVa, but no specific spot had been officially announced. But when we saw the newly installed sign over the door — we felt it was safe to report.
It doesn’t look like much work has been done on the inside, so an opening is probably not imminent. We’ll try to get more details and report back.
Besides burgers, Z-Burger offers chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, cheesesteaks, French fries, onion rings, milkshakes, and more. You can see the full Z-Burger menu here.
