New BBQ restaurant brand headed to Loudoun County

A new BBQ restaurant is in the works for Loudoun County from a Baltimore brand that is expanding into Northern Virginia.

The restaurant is called Addy’s Barbecue. We’re told it’s going into a 2,200 s.f. space in the Broadlands Village Center in Ashburn.

That spot is currently occupied by Charisa Thai which is closing at the end of March. They are consolidating into their sister restaurant — Thai Ashburn — which is located in the Ashburn Village Shopping Center.

According to the Addy’s website, they currently have one location in Catonsville, Md. near Baltimore.

The menu at Addy’s is filled with decadent sounding BBQ dishes including Smoked Brisket, Masala BBQ Ribs, and Chicken, Shrimp, or Beef Mishkaki, which are barbecued meats cooked with an East African seasoning.

Other items include Fried Chicken Breasts, BBQ Beef Quesadillas, Cajun Chicken Mac & Cheese, various types of wings, burgers, onion rings, and more. You can check out the full Addy’s menu here.

The deal to bring Addy’s to Ashburn was brokered by the team at Metropolitan Restaurant Brokers.

We’re told the Addy’s team hopes to add additional locations in the Northern Virginia and DC area.
