The fast-growing Sweetgreen chain of restaurants is opening its latest location next week at the Fairfax Corner shopping center in Fairfax. It’s one of several new retailers and restaurants that have opened or are on the way.
Sweetgreen will open on Tuesday, April 1 in a nearly 2,400 s.f. space next door to the newly opened Apple store.
The brand is known for its healthy bowls and salads. They’ve also recently added a side dish called Ripple Fries to the menu.
Besides Sweetgreen, a new Rowan ear piercing boutique will also open at Fairfax Corner on April 1.
Other new tenants in the works include a recently signed J. McLaughlin women’s clothing store which will take an approximately 1, 500 s.f. unit in the center. It’s expected to open later this year.
Also coming later in 2025 to the center is the previously announced new restaurant Ruthie’s All Day. Ruthie’s is a locally based brand that specializes in southern comfort food and focuses on breakfast and brunch offerings.
Finally, a Drybar blowout salon is scheduled to open this summer across from the Ozzie’s Good Eats restaurant.
