Loudoun’s latest First Watch restaurant has a target opening

It’s hard to believe this was once an Outback Steakhouse. The former Outback in Sterling has been given an extreme makeover to turn it into a new First Watch restaurant.

And now, an opening is just days away.

According to a First Watch team member who spoke with The Burn, the restaurant is expected to open on Monday, April 21. We’re still waiting on the official announcement, but at least we know its getting close.

The Burn broke the news about First Watch taking over the building at the Potomac Run Plaza more than a year ago – in February 2024.

Construction has been ongoing for months now and it’s finally time to start welcoming guests.

First Watch – which has two other locations in Loudoun – is a breakfast and brunch-focused restaurant with hours that run from the morning to early afternoon.

Another area First Watch is in the works for Reston, where it’s taking over a former Carrabba’s Italian Grill building.
