Does anyone else feel like One Loudoun in Ashburn is finally coming into its own? It has always had great restaurants, but now the retail shopping scene there is exploding.
The latest tenants that have reportedly signed on are famed kitchenware and home goods dealer Williams-Sonoma and home furnishing store Pottery Barn.
According to the landlord, both are slated to take large (huge!) spaces in the new section of One Loudoun that is currently under construction.
As The Burn has been reporting, construction on the new phase is moving quickly. The walls have already started to go up for a new block of buildings along Exchange Street in the center.
Williams-Sonoma is earmarked to take a nearly 5,800 s.f. space along the new block while Pottery Barn is apparently going to have its own free-standing 13,260 s.f. building. That’s a big space.
Both Williams-Sonoma and Pottery Barn have smaller outlet stores at the Leesburg Premium Outlets, but the new ones slated for One Loudoun will be full-fledged, full-on stores featuring the latest merchandise.
As regular readers know, these two new retailers are just the latest in a growing list of new tenants headed to One Loudoun.
Lenscrafters and Southern Tide both recently opened new stores in the center. Meanwhile, a Kendra Scott boutique and an upscale Arhaus furniture store are in the works.
On the dining side, upcoming new options will include a Falafel Inc restaurant, a Tatte Bakery & Cafe, a Van Leeuwen ice cream shop, and a new Bartaco restaurant.
The latest plans at One Loudoun also call for a winter ice skating rink on the lawn in front of Bartaco and a new 7-story residential building with 424 units.
