The Raising Cane’s restaurant brand has their eyes on a possible new spot for one of their popular chicken joints. This time they’re looking at Chantilly.
The Burn has learned that Raising Cane’s is exploring taking over the building at 14050 Thunderbolt Place. That’s just off Route 50, immediately east of State Road 28.
That address is currently home to a Bob Evans restaurant, but the building has been on the market, listed as available for sale or lease.
Raising Cane’s is known for its chicken tenders, krinkle fries, and Texas toast. The brand has more than 800 locations across the country.
Here in Northern Virginia, there are three Raising Cane’s spots, according to the RC website. The first one opened in Loudoun County back in December 2022.
Since then, two more have opened in the region – one in Manassas and one in Falls Church.
It doesn’t sound like the Chantilly Raising Cane’s is a done deal yet. A planning commission needs to review it in May before it can get the green light to move forward.
