Fans of the frozen Italian treat known as gelato – listen up. A new handmade gelato shop has quietly opened in downtown Leesburg.
The gelateria is known as Gogo’s Gelato and you can find it at 10 South King Street.
Some of you may recognize that address as the home of the popular Tarbender’s Lounge.
Gogo’s is the latest establishment from the Tarbender’s team. They have repurposed a retail space at the front of the Tarbender’s into the new sweet shop.
Gogo’s offers a bevy of unique and ever-changing flavors, including Dark Chocolate, Pistachio, Pumpkin Pie, Figleaf, Mango, Pineapple, and Olive Oil.
They also currently have a Strawberry Basil Sorbeto.
Currently, Gogo’s is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 12 noon to 12 midnight, and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
