Just last week, The Burn broke the news that a new Onelife Fitness center was coming to the Ashbrook Commons shopping center in Ashburn. Now, we have learned they are getting a new neighbor.
A Dominque Dawes Gymnastics & Ninja Academy will be opening next door to the Onelife. It will be taking a nearly 20,000 s.f. space that until recently was the home to Off Broadway Shoes.
Dominque Dawes is, of course, the famous American gymnast. She’s a three-time Olympian and a gold medalist. She is the founder and brand ambassador of the academy.
According to the company’s website, there are three open locations so far – all in Maryland. Now, the academy is moving into Virginia and Loudoun County.
At the Dominique Dawes Gymnastics & Ninja Academy, they offer a variety of gymnastics and tumbling courses for young children, as well as fitness and obstacle course training inspired by the American Ninja Warrior Junior television program.
Considering that Ashbrook Commons already has a Master Lee’s martial arts studio, a Cyclebar cycling studio, and a Rumble boxing studio – the addition of Dominique Dawes and Onelife means its becoming a major hub for physical fitness in the Ashburn area.
