Gourmet Belgian chocolate shop exploring Ashburn location

A gourmet Belgian chocolate company called Neuhaus is looking at opening one of its stores in Loudoun County – in Ashburn specifically.

The Burn has learned that the Neuhaus brand is considering a spot at the One Loudoun center.

If the deal goes through, it looks like Neuhaus would be taking a spot on Exchange Street tucked in between the current LaserAway salon and the upcoming Kendra Scott boutique.

The first Neuhaus chocolate shop opened in 1857 in Brussels, Belgium and that shop is still in business today.

Currently, there are several dozen Neuhaus stores across Europe as well as outposts in North Africa and here in the United States.

Here in the DC market, there are locations at the Mosaic District in Fairfax County as well as one in Bethesda and another in the District. There are also many other stores that carry Neuhaus products.

We’ll keep you posted on the status of Neuhaus at One Loudoun and let you know if and when it’s a done deal.
