It looks like the days are numbered for the Ledo Pizza restaurant in Leesburg. The restaurant is listed on an online auction site and is selling off all its equipment.
Under the heading “Pizza Restaurant Equipment Auction” on the Rasmus.com website, it reads “Restaurant will close and liquidate all equipment including gas conveyor pizza oven, dough sheeter, refrigeration, freezers, kitchen, small wares, and dining furniture.”
A series of photos on the site clearly show that it’s the Leesburg Ledo location, which is in the Battlefield Shopping Center off Edwards Ferry Road NE.
Separately, we also found the roughly 3,200 s.f. space listed as available for lease on a commercial real estate site – meaning that the property owners are seeking a new tenant for the spot.
We called over to the restaurant and spoke with a Ledo manager to ask about a closing date, but he said he was unaware of any closure plans.
However, the auction listing says the closing starts on Tuesday, May 20 and winning bidders can pick up their equipment on Thursday, May 22.
In Loudoun County, there are two other Ledo locations – one in Ashburn and one in Sterling, according to the brand’s website. There are many other locations around Northern Virginia as well.
