Reston’s new First Watch restaurant officially opens its doors this Monday, May 19. But that didn’t stop them from getting in some practice sessions this weekend.
Friends and family members of the First Watch team were invited to some pre-opening services. This is a common practice for new restaurants to give everyone a trial run before welcoming the general public.
The Burn was able to get a sneak peek at the new restaurant, which is located at 12192 Sunset Hills Road.
The building has undergone a major makeover from its previous incarnation as a Carrabba’s Italian Grill restaurant.
The Carrabba’s closed back in February and the First Watch folks made short order of giving it their own look and style.
The same thing just happened in Sterling where First Watch took over a spot vacated by an Outback steakhouse. That First Watch opened in April.
First Watch is a national restaurant brand that specializes in breakfast, brunch, and lunch dishes. It’s usual hours are from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily.
