A new documentary was released this week on Netflix about former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre. And one of the producers on the film is from Loudoun County.
Leesburg resident AJ Perez worked with EverWonder Studio and a team of fellow producers to create “Untold: The Fall of Favre.”
The synopsis on the film reads: “Super Bowl champion. Three-time NFL MVP. Hall of Famer. But that’s not the whole story. This tell-all documentary unravels quarterback Brett Favre’s legacy and pattern of unchecked behavior, including an explicit text message scandal and his involvement in a massive welfare fraud scheme that shocked the nation.”
As of Friday afternoon, the movie is in Netflix’s Top 10 of currently most-watched programs. You can see the trailer for the film below.
Perez has worked for years as an investigative sports writer including at USA TODAY and Fox Sport. When not producing sports documentaries, he runs a personal training business located in Ashburn.
