We’ve got our first look at the new indoor dining room at the Yum Yum Hibachi restaurant in Ashburn. The expanded space could open as soon as next week.
Yum Yum first opened at 20706 Weller’s Corner Square back in 2023. That’s in the Old Ashburn neighborhood along Ashburn Road.
The original concept of the restaurant was focused on carryout and delivery, with no indoor dining room and just a few picnic tables outside.
This made sense in the unsettled time for restaurants coming immediately after the pandemic. But as time has gone by, the operators of Yum Yum wished they had a dining room for customers who would like to eat their meals on the spot.
When the space immediately adjacent to the restaurant became available, the Yum Yum team jumped. A build out of the space has been underway for the past few months.
The new dining room, which has seats for roughly 30 diners, should open next week if all the final steps go smoothly.
