A new ice cream and coffee shop has opened for business in Middleburg. It’s goes by a fun name – the Piedmont Drip & Dip Co.
The shop is located at 6 West Washington Street. That’s the spot that was previously home to the longtime local favorite Scruffy’s Ice Cream Parlor.
The owners of Scruffy’s decided to hang up their hats earlier this year after 26 years in business.
Fortunately, for ice cream fans, the Piedmont Drip & Dip team stepped in.
The new store is currently open Monday to Thursday from noon to 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday from noon to 8 p.m., and Sundays from 1 to 6 p.m.
