A California-based pizza chain is expanding into Northern Virginia. And the local franchisee is specifically looking at Loudoun and Fairfax counties.
The brand is called Mountain Mike’s Pizza. It has more than 300 locations around the country, most of them out west.
The company has signed a three-unit deal with a local franchisee who is currently looking for the right spots to open Mountain Mike’s.
Some of the specialty pizzas at Mountain Mike’s have mountain-themed names. They have the Snowy Alps, with pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, Italian sausage, green onions, diced tomatoes and a creamy garlic sauce. There’s also the Mt. Veggiemore with mushrooms, black olives, bell peppers, artichoke hearts, and sliced fresh tomatoes.
The menu also features bone-in and boneless wings. Side items include Garlic Not-Knots and Mountain Fries. You can see the full Mountain Mike’s menu here.
The deal was just announced last week, so no word yet on where – or when – the first NoVa outlet will open. Stay tuned.
