Other than fried chicken, there are few things The Burn loves more than a good smash burger. So, we’re happy to report that a new smash burger restaurant is expanding into the area.
The brand is called Jon’s Joint and they currently have one location over in Arlington. Now, we’ve learned they are working on a second location in Loudoun County.
Jon’s Joint will be taking a roughly 1,800 s.f. space in the Cascades Overlook retail center in Sterling.
That’s the center off Benedict Drive with a Harris Teeter supermarket, the Chuy’s Tex-Mex restaurant, the Burton’s Grill & Bar, the new Douglab, and many other restaurants and businesses.
Jon’s Joint is taking the space left vacant when the Zoup! restaurant closed last June.
The menu at Jon’s Joint includes a variety of curated smash burgers, plus a build-your-own-burger option.
They also offer chicken sandwiches, loaded fries, milkshakes and something called a Glass Bottle Malt. Color us intrigued. You can see the full Jon’s Joint menu below.
Right now, the Jon’s Joint team is aiming to be ready to open sometime this coming fall.
