Loudoun County’s Dynasty Brewing Co. is looking to make some changes – and they are open to a number of different possiblities.
The brewer has a brewing facility and taproom in Ashburn off Loudoun County Parkway near Gloucster Parkway. They also have a taproom in downtown Leesburg.
Dynasty got its start in 2017 and has brewed up batches of its El Supremo Pilsner, its Mariposa Mexican-Style Lager, its Mount Vernon Virginia Porter, and many others over the years.
But now, the owners – Favio Garcia, Travis Thompson, and Michelle O’Brien – are looking to make a change.
“As our lease comes to an end, we have to make some decisions,” Garcia told The Burn. “As much as we love our Ashburn brewery, we are ready for something new. Travis and I like the idea of keeping the Dynasty brand going, but we are not interested in the day-to-day running of a brewery taproom. Michelle is ready to spend more time with her kids and grandkids.”
Scenarios the Dynasty team is considering include an outright sale, bringing on new partners, or finding someone else to operate the brewery.
No decisions have been made yet and Garcia says they are open to ideas, so stay tuned.
