A new fast casual restaurant brand focused on healthier dining options is entering the greater DC market, including a planned location here in Northern Virginia.
The restaurant is called Pura Vida Miami – and as you may have guessed from the name, it got its start in South Florida.
According to the company’s website, it has 36 locations currently. Most of them are in Florida, but Pura Vida also has several in New York City. Now, our area is next.
The Burn has learned that Pura Vida Miami is working on a new location at the Mosaic District in Fairfax. It’s reportedly taking the spot that was previously the Parc de Ville restaurant.
Pura Vida is also planning a location in Potomac, Maryland at the Cabin John Village shopping center.
The menu at Pura Vida Miami includes all-day breakfast items such as a Veggie Omelette, Avocado Smash Toast, and a Tomato Bagel, which is a toasted bagel with cream cheese, tomato, and topped with black pepper, sea salt, and olive oil.
There are also sandwiches, salads, wraps, bowls, coffees, pastries, and more. You can see the Florida version of the Pura Vida Miami menu below.
No timeline has been announced for the opening of the Fairfax location. The construction planning process for the space at the center is just getting underway.
