Major progress in Herndon where a new Buffalo Wild Wings GO restaurant has just about wrapped up construction. And a grand opening is scheduled for next week.
As The Burn reported back in January, Buffalo Wild Wings GO is coming to the BB&T Center – a tiny shopping plaza that is also home to the town’s Duck Donuts location.
Now, we’ve learned that the restaurant will open on Thursday, June 19. A ribbon cutting is scheduled for 10 a.m. and the first 100 people in line will get free wings for a year (six wings per week).
Buffalo Wild Wings GO is a relatively new concept from the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant chain.
The GO stores have a much smaller footprint than a full-service version of the restaurant and focus on carryout and delivery only. In other words – no dining room.
During the pandemic, many restaurant brands started experimenting with models like this – and BWW has continued to expand the GO concept. A Buffalo Wild Wings GO opened in Sterling in late 2024.
