There’s a little bit of a mystery over at the Cascades Overlook retail center in Sterling. One of its longtime tenants has gone dark – at least temporarily.
We got word more than a week ago that the combo Qwench Juice Bar and DRNK Coffee + Tea shop had closed its doors.
The store’s Google listing has been updated to say “temporarily closed” and signs on the door read “We are closed until further notice. Sorry for any inconvenience.”
Two different phone numbers for the store don’t help – one is disconnected, the other goes to a full voicemail. Qwench’s Facebook page hasn’t been updated since 2022.
It’s possible that it truly is a temporary closure and the store will be reopening. Or its possible that a different operator may come in and take the space. Hard to say until someone is ready to share details. Stay tuned.
The Qwench and DRNK combo opened back in early 2018. There was also another Qwench location for roughly a year and a half at the Lansdowne Town Center in Loudoun County.
