Pinstack family fun center moving forward in Loudoun

Good things come to those who wait. Five years after The Burn first heard rumors about a new mega-entertainment center exploring Loudoun County, it looks like things are finally progressing.

A building permit has been issued by the county for a Pinstack family fun center to be built at the Kincora property off Russell Branch Parkway on the border between Ashburn and Sterling.

Pinstack, which currently has seven locations in Texas, is a large venue that offers visitors things like bowling, bumper cars, ropes courses, rock climbing, laser tag, video games, and more.

There’s also an a full onsite restaurant with items such as burgers, pizzas, appetizers, salads, and milkshakes – plus a full bar to boot. Think Dave & Busters – only different.

While we heard the rumors years ago, we first told readers about Pinstack back in 2024 when we got confirmation that they were looking for a local spot. You can see that initial report here.

Now, with the issuance of the building permit, it looks like all engines are go.

Plans call for a roughly 48,000 s.f. freestanding building to go up at Kincora, which will also be home to the new Northern Virginia Science Center that is currently under construction.

Loudoun County is going to be flush with new entertainment options soon. Besides the plans for a Pinstack, The Burn has also been reporting on 810 Entertainment – another huge venue that’s under construction at the Dulles Town Center shopping mall.

810 Entertainment also features family fun activities such as bowling, billiards, ping pong, and other activities – plus a full restaurant and bar.

We’ve reached out to the Pinstack folks for more information about what should be their first location in Virginia – and also for a timeline for when they hope to open. Stay tuned.
