Major progress to report at the new Deli Italiano restaurant coming to Leesburg. The facade of the building has been totally redone and the signs are up on the exterior.

Regular readers know that the local Deli Italiano chain has taken over the former Aiyara Thai restaurant building at 5 Catoctin Circle SE.
The owner has split the building into two halves. Deli Italiano is close to opening in one half – it looks nearly complete inside and county inspections are underway.
Meanwhile, the other half awaits an as-of-yet-unnamed future tenant – most likely another restaurant.
Deli Italiano will offer customers a indoor dining room, outdoor patio seating, as well as having delivery and carry out available.
The menu will feature sandwiches, wings, salads, plus beer and wine and, of course, their popular pizza pies and pizza by the slice options as well. You can see the full lineup here.
Founded in 1990, the brand currently has four locations — Lansdowne, Herndon, Great Falls, and Arlington. They have two more in the works — Leesburg, plus one in Reston.
No word on an opening date for the Leesburg Deli Italiano. We’ve got messages in for an update.
