There’s fast progress to report at One Loudoun where a new section of the retail and restaurant center is rising quickly from what was once a big empty lot.
The frameworks for at least three new buildings have gone up and the new road layout has been put in place and even some paving done.
Construction crews started work on the site last October. It will extend Exchange Street in the center by another block or more and the new buildings are going up fast.
As The Burn has been exclusively reporting, the retailers coming to this new phase of OL include an Arhaus Furniture store, an Alo athletic clothing store, a Tatte Bakery & Cafe, a Van Leeuwen ice cream shop, a Pottery Barn store, a Bartaco restaurant, a Williams Sonoma housewares store, and a boutique hotel.

The Burn has used its (very) rudimentary graphic design skills to create this image showing the approximate spots of each new retailer. (The Pottery Barn spot is not clearly visible in the photo, but it will be out past the Bartaco and the Van Leeuwen.)
You’ll also see an open area in front of the future Bartaco that we have marked as an ice rink. Plans reportedly call for this to be an open area or plaza in the summer, but then turned into a skating rink in the winter.
There are still spaces for roughly a dozen more stores and restaurants in this new section of One Loudoun, so many more announcements are expected in the coming months as the construction moves closer to completion.
