Thanks for your question, Kevin. We actually wrote something about this back in 2023, but we admit – when it wasn’t a restaurant or something super exciting (from our coverage perspective), we didn’t do a follow up.
Back then, we said that the Valvoline Instant Oil Change brand was considering that spot for one of their oil change centers. And indeed, that’s what’s it’s going to be.
The facility will be about 3,000 s.f. and – as you mentioned, Kevin – it will sit at the north end of a row of businesses along Compass Creek Parkway that also includes Popeyes, Chipotle, Starbucks, Mezeh Mediterranean Grill, Brusters Real Ice Cream, and Buffalo Wing Factory.
Of course, there is also the huge Walmart store there, along with a Wendy’s and the At Home store that is scheduled to close permanently by September.
