We knew it would happen eventually, but an Loudoun pizza restaurant has had a subtle name change recently. Chicago’s Pizza with a Twist in Ashburn is now simply known as Pizza Twist.
The restaurant is located at 20691 Ashburn Road in the Old Ashburn neighborhood, where a new-ish sign has gone up with the updated moniker.
Pizza Twist is a national restaurant chain that specializes in what they call “fusion pizza.” While they have traditional American styles of pizza, they also offer pizzas with toppings inspired by Indian cuisine.
For example menu items include a Butter Chicken Pizza and a Pesto Paneer Pizza. They also have wings, pastas, cheesy breadsticks, and more.
Even though the brand was expanding under the Pizza Twist name, somehow the location in Ashburn got stuck with the old name – Chicago’s Pizza with a Twist. So the name update is really just bringing it in line with the national brand.
They’ve been using the Pizza Twist name on social media for ages, but now it’s official.
Locally, there are also Pizza Twist locations in Sterling, Herndon, and Winchester.
