Makers Union Pub makes its debut in Loudoun County

The new Makers Union Pub officially opened its doors this afternoon – Tuesday, July 15. It’s the first location for the local DMV brand in Loudoun County.

As we’ve been reporting, Makers Union Pub has taken over the space that was previously the Social House Kitchen & Tap at the Goose Creek Village shopping center in Ashburn.

That’s at the corner of Sycolin Road and Belmont Ridge Road.

Both the Social House brand and the Makers Union brand are owned by Thompson Restaurants, a major hospitality company based in Reston.

A good sized crowd showed up to check out the new space — especially the bar – when it officially opened its doors at 4 p.m.

The bar and dining room layout of the restaurant remains the same as it was previously, but the space has been given a fresh coat of paint and new decor. And the new name hangs proudly over the front door.

There are three other Makers Union locations – one in Reston, one in Arlington, and one in DC at The Wharf.
