The team over at Ashburn Magazine (which – full disclosure – includes yours truly) has given the design of the award-winning magazine a refresh in the latest issue out this week.
Tweaks include the Around Ashburn section filled with more stories than ever about local people and places.
Then there’s the new Dish section with expanded coverage of Ashburn food and dining scene. Plus the entire magazine has been given a subtle refresh in the colors, fonts, and design of the pages.
Feature stories in this issue include an in-depth look at the Northern Virginia Science Center now under construction near Ashburn.

There’s also a feature about a local teen competing on the American Ninja Warrior television program, and a man who is one of the leading “ploggers” in the world.
Plus, two local greenhouses that stood in Ashburn for decades have found new life in western Loudoun, a profile of the new Frye’s Famous Crab Cake Co. restaurant, an interview about the trend towards breakfast and brunch style restaurants, and there’s a story about a world famous musician who once called Ashburn home.
Ashburn Magazine is mailed to roughly 13,000 homes in Ashburn and several thousand additional copies are available at dozens of locations around the community. You can find out where to pick up the latest issue by clicking here.
