A pop of color will be officially unveiled at the Leesburg Premium Outlets later this month. That’s when a new mural is being unveiled that celebrates the joy of shopping.
The popular outlet mall in Leesburg will hold a special ceremony to unveil the mural on Saturday, July 26, at 11 a.m.
“Titled ‘Shopping Lovers,’ this vibrant mural uses a palette of reds, yellows, blues and greens to depict shoppers from diverse backgrounds joyfully exploring the center together,” an announcement from the mall reads. “The piece symbolizes unity and cultural exchange, transforming a hallway into a celebration of community and connection.”
The mural is the work of Elizabeth Halliday, an local artist and art teacher at Lowes Island Elementary School in Sterling.
The mural is located on a wall next to the mall management office near the Pottery Barn Outlet store. It measures roughly 15 feet high by 29 feet wide.
