The new Filli Cafe coming to Chantilly has announced its grand opening date. The big day will be next Thursday, July 24 at 4 p.m.
The Burn first reported the news about Filli last October. The coffee shop brand from Dubai is opening in the Sully Place Shopping Center.
The opening celebration will include Filli’s signature Zafran Chai as well as specialty drinks and fresh bites prepared in the cafe’s kitchen.
Filli Cafe is the latest in a wave of coffee shops from the Arab world entering the greater DC market.
Shotted Specialty Coffee, with roots in Saudi Arabia, has locations at the Dulles Town Center shopping mall as well as over in Tysons.
Qamaria, a coffee shop brand from Yemen, is getting ready to open a cafe in Sterling.
And another UAE brand coffeeshop known as Shaghf Coffee opened its first Northern Virginia location last year in Falls Church and it opens another one in Fairfax this Saturday, July 19.
