Play the Par Social Club in Leesburg starts soft opening

It’s been a long time coming, but the new Play the Par Social Club in Leesburg is starting its soft opening this week.

The indoor golf and gaming venue in the Virginia Village shopping center has been holding private events for several weeks and tomorrow – Friday, August 1 – it officially opens its doors. (Pro Tip: the doors are actually open today in a soft soft opening.)

The Burn first told readers about Play the Par last December when it took over the space vacated by the Tap In Leesburg indoor golf venue.

The new facility has seven gaming bays. Six of them are outfitted with the Trackman indoor golf system, and two of them can also be used for other types of simulated games, such as football and baseball.

An additional bay is a video gaming bay where guests can play games such as Street Fighter on a huge, wall-sized screen.

Play the Par Social Club also has a pro shop with golf paraphernalia as well as full bar that also offers bar-style munchies.
