The team at the upcoming Machu Picchu Restobar is making progress and they’ve shared a sneak peek inside the new Ashburn restaurant.
The Burn first broke the news about Machu Picchu back in July. It has taken over the space vacated by the Ashburn Village Inn in the Ashbrook Commons shopping center.
That’s the Harris Teeter-anchored center near the intersection of Route 7 and Ashburn Village Boulevard.
Macchu Picchu is going to specialize in Peruvian cuisine – and to that end, the dining room and bar areas have been decked out with various types of artwork and iconography symbolic of Peru.

You can check out the full Machu Picchu menu below.
Right now, the owners hope to have the restaurant ready to open by the end of August.
The liquor license probably won’t be in place yet – that sometimes takes longer to secure – but they are eager to open and start serving guests.
