Upscale new Leesburg restaurant The Huntōn announces opening date

An elegant new restaurant in downtown Leesburg is getting ready to open its doors and The Burn has both the opening date and a first look at the exciting menu.

We’re talking about The Huntōn – the eagerly awaited main restaurant inside the town’s new Hotel Burg. The hotel – located at 208 South King Street – just opened its doors on August 1.

There are two primary restaurants on the property – the more casual Diana Lounge, which opened along with the hotel earlier this month, and The Huntōn, which is scheduled to open next Tuesday, August 19.

Sharable dishes on The Huntōn’s menu include a fine selection of cheeses and charcuterie, Petrossian caviar, and The Huntōn Tower, a seafood tower with oysters, tuna, shrimp cocktail, mussels, and crab.

The main menu is lined up with four categories – the Larder, the Classics, the Market, and the Hunt. Beneath each heading, there are starters, mains, and desserts inspired by the categories.

Some of the dishes include Hushpuppies, Ash-Roasted Beets, Lobster Thermidor, King Midas’ Risotto, Rainbow Trout, a 45-Day Dry-Aged NY Strip, Hummingbird Cake, and a Basque Cheesecake.

The restaurant is being led by Chef Vincent Badiee, who has worked at The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm as well as Michelin-starred restaurants in New York City and Italy.
