The new Roggenart Bakery Bistro & Cafe officially opened its doors today in Reston – bringing its menu of artisan sandwiches, salads, and baked goods to a new audience.
And The Burn stopped by to get a first look at the new store.
Roggenart means “the art of rye.” The Maryland-based company has 12 locations open, according to its website.
The Reston location is in the RTC West center off Sunset Hills Road. This is the same spot with the Cooper’s Hawk restaurant, the Kook Dogg Cafe, and others.
Roggenart took over a space left empty when Starbucks moved out.
The grand opening event today included free pastry samples and local community leaders in attendance.
