Dynasty Brewing closing Ashburn taproom this weekend

The end is nigh for the Dynasty Brewing Co. in Ashburn. After a seven year run, the brewery will close its Ashburn taproom this weekend.

This Sunday, August 31, will be the final day and the team is throwing its final annual anniversary party on Saturday, August 30.

The beer production there will continue a few months longer.

It was back in June that The Burn reported on Dynasty’s lease ending for their taproom in Ashburn, located at 21140 Ashburn Crossing Drive.

The owners announced it was time for a change and they were looking for a new path forward. They had hoped to identify new operators for the brewery, but so far, that hasn’t happened.

While the Ashburn taproom will close this weekend, Dynasty plans to maintain its taproom in downtown Leesburg, found at 101 Loudoun Street SE.

If all goes as planned, in the future, they will brew their Dynasty beers under contracts with other breweries to serve at the Leesburg location.

They would also like to serve beers and wines made by other local breweries and wineries.
