Ms. Peach’s Southern Kitchen celebrating grand opening in Sterling

It’s time to get your fried chicken, catfish, and corn bread on – the new Ms. Peach’s Southern Kitchen celebrates its grand opening in Sterling today – Tuesday, September 2.

The 2,200 s.f. restaurant – which has been doing a soft opening for several days now – gets the party started today at 4 p.m.

This includes free Peach Sweet Tea in a keepsake mason jar, gift prize opportunities for the first 50 guests, happy hour deals, face painting, and more.

As The Burn has been reporting, Ms. Peach’s has opened in the Great Falls Plaza off Algonkian Parkway. It took over the spot previously occupied by Locals Tacos & Tequila.

Both restaurant brands are owned by the same parent company – Thompson Restaurants. Ms. Peach’s is named after a nickname given to Hattie Warren, the grandmother of Warren Thompson, the company’s founder.

When we stopped by today, the Thompson team was busy blowing up balloons outside, and setting up and decorating inside.

The restaurant decor is warm and cozy, with shades of peach and other pastel paints on the walk, houseplants, and a gingham-patterned accent wall.

This is the first and only Ms. Peach’s location for the company – but we are told more could be coming in the future.
