Riddle: When does a brewery close – but not close? Answer: When it gets a temporary reprieve. That’s the situation at the Dynasty Brewing Co. in Ashburn.
As regular readers know, Dynasty announced last month that it would be permanently closing its Ashburn taproom on Sunday, August 31. And that’s what they did.
But now, the taproom has reopened for just a little longer.
“Good news — we’ve had a change in circumstances that allows us to keep the Ashburn Taproom open from Tuesday, September 16 to Sunday, November 30,” the brewery posted on social media. “Come grab a pint, catch up with friends, and enjoy the fall season with us. Cheers!”
Despite the happy U-turn for Dynasty fans, the final closure is still in the works.
“We are selling everything in the Ashburn taproom from tables to the forklift – come in and make us an offer,” the post also states.
Dynasty plans to maintain its taproom in downtown Leesburg, found at 101 Loudoun Street SE.
