On Wednesday, the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority announced a slate of new shops and restaurants that will be coming to the upcoming Concourse E being built at Dulles International.
Among the offerings, there will be a food court that will include a Wendy’s, a Jimmy John’s, a Dunkin’, a Dos Toros Taqueria, a Stratus Bar, and a children’s play area.
Other restaurants in the works for Concourse E include:
- Ellie Bird, a Falls Church-based casual contemporary restaurant
- Good Company Doughnuts & Cafe, a local all-day cafe with handmade doughnuts, specialty coffee and homemade food
- Bonchon, the popular Korean-style fried chicken restaurant
- Aventino, a full-service Italian restaurant with full bar
- Rusty Taco, a fast-casual restaurant serving street-style tacos
Loudoun County-based Honor Brewing will also have a space in the new concourse serving up its popular lineup of beers as well as a full restaurant menu.
Other vendors coming to the Concourse E include two duty free shops, a Travel Tech store with electronic gadgets and accessories, and Gameway, a video gaming center with leather chairs, noise canceling headphones, charging ports, luggage storage and fast Wi-Fi.
Construction on Concourse E started in 2024 and it is expected to open in the fall of 2026. It will be a 435,000 s.f. structure with 14 new gates – all of them occupied by United Airlines. The concourse will be connected directly to the airport’s underground AeroTrain line.
