A new art studio opened its doors in Loudoun County this weekend and it’s unlike anything you’ve probably seen before.
It’s called Hawaii Fluid Art and the new studio is located in the Loudoun Station development off Shellhorn Road in Ashburn.
The Burn first reported on plans for Hawaii Fluid Art to open locally back in January. Since then, construction on the space has been underway.
Guests at Hawaii Fluid Art are invited to take part in a variety of different art classes.
Fluid art involves paints of different weights and thicknesses which are combined and rolled around on a canvas to create a unique piece of art.
Other classes include glass painting and resin classes where you can create both works of art or your own drinking tumbler with a design created by you.
According to the company’s website, there are more than 40 Hawaii Fluid Art studios open around the country, but the one in Ashburn is the first one in the Northern Virginia region.
