Dogfish Head Alehouse opening new Reston location

Northern Virginia fans of the Dogfish Head brewery have reason to celebrate. The company is planning a new brewhouse in Reston.

The team at the Reston Town Center Next development (known as RTC Next) has announced that Dogfish Head Alehouse will take a roughly 7,200 s.f. space on the second floor of the center.

It will be positioned above the upcoming Grazie Nonna Italian restaurant. (See our report on that future establishment here.)

RTC Next is located at the intersection of Town Center Parkway and Sunset Hills Road on the north side of Highway 267.

As The Burn has been reporting, a slew of new businesses are open – or in the process of opening – there. This includes a Clarity restaurant, a Paris Baguette, a Toastique, a Yunnan by Potomac Chinese restaurant, and more.

Now, Dogfish Head Alehouse is the latest eatery and drinkery to sign on to RTC Next. No word yet on when it might open.

The Dogfish brand is based in Delaware, with several outlets there, and it has one of its alehouses in Gaithersburg, Maryland. It also apparently had previous locations in Falls Church and Fairfax.

Besides a menu filled with many of Dogfish Head’s well-known beers, the Maryland alehouse also offers an extensive food menu with dishes such as 60-Minute Chili, Smoked Brisket Cheesesteak, Crispy Fish & Chips, Jambalaya, as well as burgers, sandwiches, and pizzas.
