Back in July, The Burn broke the news about a new upscale Indian restaurant coming to the Reston Town Center. The name of the restaurant is Masti.
“Indian flavors with a modern twist” is the motto for Masti, according to the restaurant’s website, going on to read “savor our signature dishes, house-blended spices, and cocktails served in a space where great food and good vibes come together.”
Masti has moved in to the former Panera space, which looks out on the pavilion where the ice skating rink is in the winter.
Construction has been underway for several months now and things are getting closer. Hiring is currently underway.
We also have gotten more details on the menu at Masti. Signature dishes will include a Wild Boar Chop, Chicken Jhol Momos, a Paneer Kathi Roll, Chicken Biryani, and a Jack Fruit Kofta.
There will also be salads, chaat (finger food), curries, naans, tandoor dishes, and more. You can see the current version of the Masti menu here.
Masti will be a sister restaurant to the popular Indochen restaurant, which has two locations in Alexandria, according to its website.
